As someone who purchased the game when it was first released in Early Access, I can't help but be disappointed that the developers chose to release a new biome and features as DLC rather than simply adding them into the base game.

Would be nice to jump into an Ark with cool new features, but I won't be paying R219 to do so.

I play this a lot(over 900 hours log'd so far). but this is just wrong. It would have been fine if the game got released and this was month or so after. but seriously they moved the release from June to December for what to add more DLC? Or If the content of game was done and they are busy with bug fixes and optimizations then almost can say this fair.

I wouldn't mind paying for a whole new biome, but at least finish the base game before you start developing expansion packs ffs.

One of the bigger issues that people can take some technology and dino's back into the original map. Giving them an advantage over people who haven't bought it. If they carry on down this road it will lead to being pay2win.
