This dongle will let you listen to music and charge your phone at the same time on Apple's iPhone 7.

Or, rather, this for R30. Hells, if you're worried it'll break, buy four.

Did you know, many people still do not know what a dongle is.

Mentioning it - they either look at you funny or think you're talking kak.

I can foresee Apple releasing an update making 90% of the non-official dongles useless.

    Didnt even think of that....

I'm not dissing apple for the sake of being trendy and dissing them, but to make such a huge change to something that so many ppl use, to impact the most basic function of listening to music.... I dont know, I am for out the box and fresh ideas but this feels to big of a game changer.

I dunno hey... Every manufacturer and every device has it's pro's and con's but i feel like Apple is always playing catchup with their hardware. Yes, their OS is highly optimised to run the hardware they use and their cameras are, arguably, some of the best in mobile devices.
Still, it's hard to want to move to their "locked in" software when Android offers as much as they do without having to "root" your device.

I'm not a "fanboy", I just happen to prefer Samsung over Apple for the reasons listed above.

First thing I checked. Its the primary use case for me.

During busy season I'm at work for ~14 hours a day listening to music. They brag about 5 hours play time on airpods...fk right off with that.

Definitely grabbing one of these phones though. Just need to crunch the numbers on cash buy vs throwing it on contract...and drag myself to a shop.
