PC gamers are not happy with Bioshock Remastered

9 year-old bugs, a lack of settings, and new problems have plagued the launch of Bioshock Remastered on PC.

Wow! The graphics options of the remastered games are a joke!

Ugh. Multiplat games. It's enough to make me want to quit gaming for good. :/

Can developers not just do a proper job for once in their lives?

Yeah. Even worse is this isn't a new game. How much can it really cost them to just spit and polish it a little after porting it?

I was really looking forward to the remasters too, because the old ones don't play nicely on newer systems.

I couldn't be bothered, I'm honestly not a fan of the franchise. And while I'm being honest I'm also getting sick 'n tired of all these "remasters".

I can bet you in 10 years time we'll start seeing remastered remasters, 'cause why wouldn't you want to make more money off old IP by giving it a lick of paint and Ultra HD graphics.

Yeah, I liked the first one but the rest were a bit meh. I wanted to replay the first recently but it had all kinds of weird issues on Win10.

Well this is disappointing. While I'm glad to see they have addressed BioShock's long standing widescreen issues I didn't want to see it fixed at the expense of almost every tweakable in-game setting.

I got the remasters for free and I see there are some reviewers that hasn't had any issues (although they say the visual enhancements are not exactly major) so I guess I'll give the first one a try. Not expecting to be blown away, though.
One day, I'll grow up and become responsible.
    Probably not today.
