    Default Cheapest Local Only Bandwidth?

    Hey all

Since the various uncapped options that are available don't really suit the mass downloader, has anyone observed a price decrease in local only packages? Or is the pricing still the same before and after the whole Seacom burst? I am interested in getting a decent local only package, if it is much cheaper than int bandwidth (Webafrica can offer R10/GB on their TITAN deals)

Anyone know of any ISPs that offer cheap local bandwidth?

I doubt you will find local only accounts. More than likely, you will recieve local only after your cap has been consumed. International bandwidth is so much cheaper than it was just a few months ago. The Titan packages really is something, cheap bandwidth but without the latency of uncapped. Sure, its not uncapped, but helluva more cap for what you pay.

WebAfrica does offer local only bandwidth here - http://www.webafrica.co.za/adsl/is_local/

    R70 for 10GB and R130 for 30GB.

So if you go for the second deal you'll be paying R4.something per gig.
