    Default Two quick random questions

    Hi there.

So I have some random questions. First of all, how do I block someone from calling me on a Nokia 2700 classic? Some idiot has phoned me 7 times, and I tried looking on the web and even in the manual - but that said nothing!

Also, I have been having some issues with the game Sim City 4 (yes, I know it's old - But I love it!), where i click on the install button on the splash screen, and I get an error that the installer is not a valid Win32 app. Anyway, it was installed previously, and was subsequently removed - now it won't re-install. I will attach a text file of my system In a min, it's just generating it.

I believe to block someone you need to contact your respective phone company?

You can do it on the phone, on my Samsung e250 it had a blocked numbers list that you could add to. It seems that the nokia doesn't have this feature?

Well for the blocked number, call the phone company. For Sim City 4, try running the setup directly from the CD, if it still has issues, its probably the CD thats not working.

To find out if it is the CD - make an image of it then mount that image..a 100 % success in creating the image means that the CD is fine. What OS are you using? Maybe try and run it under Windows XP compatibility if you are using Windows 7.

Can't block a number from dialing you unless you have opened a case of harrasment.
Yes Samsung phones come with a nice little tweak to block certain numbers.

They seem to have stopped, so it's fine now.

No, I haven't tried this. I tried installing a previous version i.e. SC4, but the install failed halfway through :/

What OS are you running? Try to create an image from the CD.
Did you have any virus infections/warnings recently?
