You know what I have found pretty interesting recently? I will also admit I used to get the odd pirated title, or get a copy from a friend. During those times of excess of choice I found myself enjoying gaming less and less since I was always looking for a new fix, or had that other title I also wanted to play. Basically I finished little, and did not spend the time needed to actually get the real enjoyment out of a game. Once I stopped that I found myself enjoying my games far more.
Recently I decided to look into some emulation for research, as well as to play some titles I own, or did not make it to my region. Now that I have this overload of goodness again, I am finding it very hard to remain focused to enjoy what I have. The need to pop in the next title is ever present. So I think pirates are almost shooting themselves in the foot in this regard, which I find kind of ironic.
