After the initial hoohaa passed I took a trip to mall of africa and tried the starbucks and crispy creme - hoping to get a taste of true freedom. Though I did suddenly hear bald eagles and machine guns in the background, the coffee itself was pretty bad. I drink plain espresso or americano and this stuff was nasty. The sugary whipped cream frozen stuff is the highlight of starbucks I think. Crispy creme was ok - don't see the fuss over donuts tho.
I will not ever queue for something like this though. Are people just that desperate for something new? Or do they crave a taste of America?
