[MENTION=4071]BeoTeK[/MENTION] I don't know too much about HDR in photography but I believe it is some sort of post-processing effect which can be displayed on any display.
This HDR essentially refers to a wider contrast and colour range, and could also be seen as a display standard for 4K displays. The confusion between the classic perception of HDR (photography) and this leap in display technology has made it difficult to understand.
