Not sure...haven't actually bothered with that stuff since getting a laptop. I do usually enable vsync to keep the thing from getting uncomfortably hot on lap. Else it seems entirely happy going wild & generating crazy heat.
Last I checked CPU mining isn't close to economical?

With Zcash it isI combine it with my GPU's
this is my current mining stats:

Was thinking that yeah, makes sense
Admittedly it is a lot cooler today than it has been, so my temps are very low. I ran a quick 3DMark to put some load on my GPU and the highest temp I saw at 100% load was 55°C.
Granted another factor that contributes to my low temps is that both my CPU & GPU are cooled by All-in-One water coolers; I have an H100i GTX on my CPU and the stock cooler on my Fury X.
I plugged my side fan and front fan back in and temps have dropped to 86C.

Yeah, my GTX760 was hitting the middle 70 last weekend in certain games, only managed to clean it this weekend. Was ashamed at the dust it had gathered. Used a blower and cleaned out the dust. Temps are now 10 degrees lower on average.
