Help meeeh , I have some ideas but I'd love to hear what you guys think.
My current build is as follows:

    MSI z87g43
    i5 4430
Evga gtx 760 4gb FTW edition
    4 x 4 DDR3 budget ram
    Cm thunder 600w
    1tb HDD
    125gb ssd

Now what so you think I should do to improve this build?
Is it worth it now to go for a new mobo + CPU, or wait a while and get next gen?
Should I maybe look at getting a new board for SLI to future proof more?

Look forward to hearing what oukes have to say and why

Get a better GPU, then wait for Kaby Lake or Cannonlake to come and then do the CPU, RAM and mobo.

I agree with this. The GPU is your bottleneck here. I still game with an i5 and 16gb RAM but upgraded my GPU to a GTX970 and I play almost everything on its max/high settings.

I want to buy your cpu, mobo and ram the moment you do a complete upgrade

@braaislaai, Will keep you in mind boet. It's a solid pairing but I would've loved to have an unlocked multiplier on my CPU. For now maybe over the new year the prices will drop a bit and I'll look at getting a GTX1070. Seems legit.

I have little experience with the Ax series of CPU's, so I was reserving my comment...do you mean the A6 7470k?

If so, those CPU's you mention could potentially be a bottleneck down the road, as they're the rough equivalent of the first-gen i7's I believe.

Also, might I ask why you going for a CPU with graphics capabalities if you're gonna slap a discrete card in there? Doesn't that disable it, or is there some sort of CrossFire setup you can do with your card...I dunno.
