15k to boost it by over 41kW ? that aint half bad ... besides, I wouldn't want them to touch the engine.

Maybe it's something to think about when it runs out of warranty

How's the effect on fuel consumption? I'm pretty sure something's wrong with my gear ratio settings. I get about 10l/100km in town driving and 1st / 2nd feels very flat. Yet when i drive long distance with AC on it drops to 6.5l/100km (A very big drop imho)

    jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez dude that is heavy.

Fuel consumption. well If I go a bit mal on my car, a tank get's me around 250KM LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!

If I drive it without boosting at all, it's lighter on juice than my stock 1.4 lite. Sounds weird, but it gets very technical. LOL!

    That's what I thought too ... my 1.6 GSi used to get 6.3l/100km ...

6.5l/100km open road with AC on for a 1.8 is quite acceptable. But 10/100km in town? I'm coughing up the cash

Any way to check whether settings are borked?

Put your car on a dyno, give Ross at RBTS a call, they are rather expensive but he can have a look at it for you.

    O yeah!

Well get yourself to a dyno then. if they tune the mangement of the car itself, the chip, it does not touch the warranty!

thing is what about something like my car for example... the dealership said to me if i do any mechanical adjustments then I void my warranty straight.... so is that still classified as doing mechanical adjustments???

no because they can't detect it. if there is only software tuning done on the car, they will just pick it up as software that has reset itself or gone haywire
