Hey all,
So in a nutshell i misread a quote and ordered the GB GTX 1060 mini from frontosa. Is there any real difference in perfomance between the mini and normal sized card?
I see the difference in price is around R300.

"Practically speaking, with this generation, they work near identically to dual and triple fan options. The efficiency of Pascal made smaller form factor cards much more relatively effective. The only difference I'd expect would be a little more noise due to a single fan having to ramp up a little more. For reference, EVGA's SuperClocked model is a 'mini' card (that's their mainstream OC'd model).
TL;DR: they're probably slightly noiser but identical performance (and they look mini-er)"
Thanks for the quick reply!
I have been doing a little research and the clocks are marginally off, so it doesnt seem like its overly worth the effort.
My biggest problem is the difference in size. Not use to having a mini card when i use to have amd 7970 lol.

Basically Frontosa is a sub-distributor. So when I was buying i was looking at an excel sheet with codes. So I misread and got the wrong card. I am actually taking it back and getting the bigger card.
