7 days to die on the list? Really?
Pretty much a grown up version of Minecraft...

Oh and why is there no "No Man's Sky" on the list?

Yeah I agree 7 Days should not be up there. Personally I really enjoy 7 Days, and its in beta so its technically not out.

That might be my fault, I listed it as it was piss poor on consoles at least.

Also, I don't think NMS is fair to be worst, disappointing sure. The game wasn't as broken as most on this list and was actually very well received amongst a lot and others not so much, so it was mixed, but certainly not broken, incomplete maybe at best.

It's fantastic and I can see why some people don't like it but to be nominated as a contender for worst game of the year? No fucking way.

No idea how it plays on console but it's great on PC.

As for No man's sky...There is no spinning it, it's a half baked, shallow, over priced piece of shit.
Let's not joke around here. They blatantly lied on multiple occasions about content and features, they charged $60 for the trash and then when the world saw what they had done, they vanished into thin air. The game was broken at launch, tons of people were losing saved games and progress. Not to mention performance issues. I'd rate it right up there with Aliens Colonial marines. If not worse than that.

Why do you link me to console metacritic bud?
Since when do I care about consoles?

I couldn't nominate it because there were literally 2 pages of new threads to go through because for some or other reason it was a "good" idea to stuff everything gaming related into one section.

I should also mention that 7 Days to die is in alpha..not a released game by any means.

Oh and...

7 Days to Die can be bought on disc on consoles in shops anywhere. Doesn't matter if it's still in Alpha. It's available on retail shelves and has got some pretty dismal reviews on console, regardless of how good or fun it is on PC.

I don't think it would it would make sense to specifically nominate the console version because at the end of the day it's the same game, albeit probably with a lot of difference between platforms.

I also don't understand how they can sell a game that's still in development on disc, but that's not the topic here.

Fair enough.
I get why you would feel that way. That said I think a game should be rated across all platforms. So if a game is available on the 2 main consoles and PC then it should be rated by how it's received across all platforms. So maybe 7 Days to die should be on the list then because of it's poor console reception.

That said, No man's sky was received poorly on both it's platforms, in fact going through combined user reviews it's most likely one of the worst received titles in gaming history. Especially if you consider how the game was hyped over the years before release.

Also I see people are taking offense with my opinion. Not quite sure why, people generally debate things on forums.

Edit:

My opinion is that one should factor into account the game across all platforms, not just one.

Then why is it available in retail stores as physical copies?

Read the above, I agree.

Yeah I'm not arguing about NMS, I was never interested in the game and no amount of patches or added content will change that. It's simply not something that appeals to me. I can definitely see why people are disappointed in it though.
