Some people are just predispositioned (spelling) to become addicted to something, Sex, Drugs, Adrenalin, Fast Cars, Shoes, WOW figurines, Video Games. I still think in the large scheme of things the amount of really "addicted" gamers in the general gaming population is a droplet in a very large, large bucket.
