    Default Headphones Suggestions

Ugh my headphones stopped working this morning. Or well the one side did. And no matter what I do I can't get it to work again. It's quite an old set though and it's been worn out.

So, can anyone suggest me good gaming headsets? Is it really worthwhile getting a surround sound one?

I own a pair of these:

    Sennheiser HD598SE

and I have loved them for the past 4 years. I use them in conjunction with the Asus Xonar Essense sound card.

I'd highly recommend that combination to anyone.

Yeah, Sennheiser is an amazing brand. I have however fallen in love with Skullcandy. There is also Bose, which is also an amazing brand.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far. I'm a big fan of Steelseries products because every time I get something Steelseries then it lasts for a long time. It's always got such amazing build quality.

My current broken headsets were made by Corsair. I went through a bad time when Windows 10 was released and the drivers didn't work properly but overall it was a great headset with amazing sound. Not a fan of Corsair Windows drivers however!

I can get the Logitech G633 Artemis for R1000. I'm not a big fan of Logitech and people do seem to complain that these give a lot of problems. Any thoughts?

    *edit*
Oh and I'll go read up on all the suggestions so keep them coming!

Yeah, but I have a Plantronics BackBeat FIT Wireless Bluetooth Headset for running/cycling and other activities that require my hands to be free while I listen to music.
