I don't have the link right now, but iD stated that no, it will indeed not be released this year. Bummer . It's so long since they released an in house game. Doom 3 was the last if memory serves.

+1 ! I hope this game lives up to the hype ! enemy territory quake wars wasnt that good and ID needs to get back to the quality side like valve and epic
