Well, I can't really complain I guess. Now that I have been working for Eskom for 6 years, I get 37 days of leave a year (although 16 of those I can cash out if I want), we get a shit ton of sick leave each year (think it is like 45?) We also get 14 days Contingency leave each year, which can be used when your child is sick, you have to go to court, etc.Originally Posted by CrispinKay
I'm pretty sure it is not suppose to work like that. Logically it does not make sense that you have to put leave in for days you would not be at work any way. I think they are taking you guys for a ride.
Right now, I have 79 days worth of leave I can take whenever I want (depending on my manager approving it, of course). This is apart from my sick and Contingency leave.
