Although I have never been a DOTA fan (or like the community), I haven't tried HON.

I do however, tip my hat to the fact that the game has a WORLD CUP. This is proper international gaming and I would really like to see this trend spread to other games. Latency however says otherwise...

GL though to all the teams representing SA

Good luck Obi, your team seems one of the more dedicated teams out there (maybe you are the only guys on mygaming :P).

Cant join, dont have a team, and well without a team, you cant do anything.... although I fail with the game lately.... (Just wish the SA community were a bit more relaxed - everyone bashes each other most of the time in public games)

Latency does put our local teams at a disadvantage in these events. However, I think that teams partaking will agree that S2 as done an incredible job with HON's netcode and that the disadvantage in playing HON internationally is no wear even remotely as bad as playing practically any other game internationally (and competitively), its really about as good as it can get. Anything short of the fiercest competitive matches and most people probably wouldn't even realize they are playing with a 200ms+- latency.
