See I am struggling with the hack and slash, will try to finish it after my exam

Darksiders is the longest hack and slasher i've ever played. It's humongous.
Also never ending power ups and abilities. I remember there being so many.
I never finished it though, I got so horribly stuck looking for some stuff I needed near the end.

Insta-kill symbols? I just hit hit a lot, when she's walking around she doesn't seem to damage you so I just stood there and whacked away.

It's not my kind of game. I found some bits infuriating. I finished all three Dark Souls games and I loved it. This game made my blood boil at times. We just didn't gel.

I know right!?

I cant remember if it was in TS with mates or in discord, but someone commented on me getting annoyed/frustrated with some of the map level designs or the way the fighting mechanics worsk and they were like "i wonder how you'll sound playing dark souls".

I finished ds3, and am very happy with ds2SotFs. Theres just something about this game that rubs me the wrong way...
