Cuphead, Studio MDHR's side-scroller that was first announced in 2014, has finally been given a release date of September 29 on Xbox One and PC.
The date was revealed at Xbox's E3 press conference today.
Cuphead is a boss battle-focused platformer, drawn in the style of 1930s animations, including original jazz recordings. It's really, really hard.
The game was first revealed at E3 2014 and was later given a 2016 launch window at E3 2015, before Studio MDHR revealed that it would be delayed until some time this year. We've gone rounds with Cuphead since its announcement - most recently at PAX last year - and still find it as stunning and punishing as it ever was.
