Yes, you did. You missed one of the best (and most fun) online multiplayer FPS games ever made. The single player wasn't half as bad as everyone makes it out to be either. It is the only game ever that I have bought and sold twice and then bought again a third time for keeps.
I don't care for multi-player so if the single-player campaign was good (and also not short) I'll probably pick up the platinum edition.
It's not the greatest single player campaign in the world, but it really isn't all that bad either. Unfortunately, it also isn't the longest game out there, you can bet on around 6 - 8 or so hours of game time. The multi player is kinda what makes the game so awesome. That being said, the single player is still really fun.
Not really. The game has the most forgettable characters this side of the Doom space marine. Storyline is also pretty redundant. The graphics and audio of the game is impeccable and the multiplayer was half decent as well.
The control scheme and "feel" of the gameplay just lacks behind most established multiplatform games.
If you can get it for cheap, then go for it. It's enjoyable enough as an experience, but it's not really the stick by which FPS titles are measured.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, the attention to detail in the game is also amazing. The way the weapons' noise changes depending on how close to the end of the clip you get is an absolutely amazing experience in DTS.
That being said, all the video and audio special effects in the world does not really help make the lacklustre campaign a better experience. It's a nice tech demo nonetheless.

KZ2 was awesome! One of the most challenging final bosses I've encountered for a while! Awesome graphics as well....KZ3 + Naughty dog should make for an even bettr experience! Cant wait!
