I still think it's a gimmick until it's properly integrated into the gameplay. Maybe the Nintendo 3DS is trying to do something along those lines? So far, that's the only thing that has interested me in this whole 3D business. I don't get it though, new generation gaming is already ridiculously expensive and it just keeps going up and up. Developers are trying so hard to appeal to as many audiences as possible with their innovations and what-not forgetting that money does not grow on trees and that most of us are not as wealthy as their respective CEO's.
Dions in Somerset Mall also has a Sony 3DTV set. I was very disappointed. The flicker is terribly offputting. On the other hand they also had Avatar playing in blu-ray the other day and it totally blew me away. So I'm kind of banking against 3D for the time being as well. But yeah I can't wait to see what the 3DS does
