Thread: Raptr is closing down

    Default Raptr is closing down

    http://about.raptr.com/goodbye-raptr/

It's sad to see that Raptr is closing. I love tracking my game time and the other sites I've used just didn't work that well.

Over the last while I've been working on my own alternative. Just working on it here and there but now suddenly it has become critical to get it done quickly.

    Will post links once up.

I actually thought it had closed down already. And I mean I take it they were losing subscribers to get to this point.

I uninstalled it long ago when I considered it to have become 'bloatware'.

Can't say I see the appeal in tracking this stuff but to each their own

It's a real shame, but I'm not surprised at all. It's been stagnant for a long time and hasn't been tracking most of my games for a while.

Same here. I like tracking game time, but Raptr got too invasive, bloated and a clear platform for AMD graphics

Another one bites the dust just like Xfire did back in 2015, but unlike Xfire I won't miss them.

Pretty much this. I like it for tracking game time and showing how much time I've spent vs other people, but wanting to optimize games and whatever else just became too much.
