"Moore was found guilty and sentenced to death. This case sparked furious debate about the influence
of violent computer games, and is the basis of an unresolved lawsuit against Sony."

Er... first of all, shouldn't they be suing Rockstar? It was them who made the game after all. But, secondly, why on earth sue any company? They didn't tell poor Moore to go and kill the officers. That's like saying "oh that epically violent book (with no age restriction written on it in the first place) that I read the other day influenced me to kill so-and-so."

Guns dont kill people, people kill people. The same goes for games.

The Epic Mount story is a bit lol largely because due to mudflation, 5000 gold now is worth maybe a big mac meal. Upsized if you're lucky.
I can make a couple hundred gold a day cutting gems and doing randoms for lulz. Hell i have 8K sitting around that i don't know what to do with.
Worse, you can get the dang thing 8 levels earlier and for a fraction of that cost now. IIRC it's level 62 and costs a couple hundred gold.
Worst of all, if you are magnificently lazy, you can buy a sparkly flying pony straight from the Blizzard online shop, right now, for US$25.

She must be the world's cheapest, dumbest whore.

Lol! I bet she just really wanted to be "mounted" and figured she could make some gold out of it.

The couple had left the sleeping infant alone for four hours whilst they played the game at a local Internet cafe. While they were gone, the infant had rolled onto her stomach and suffocated.
I wouldn't really say that gaming is to blame for this. Parents could have been at home checking on the child every 5mins, and could have still missed this. These type of "cot deaths" happen when parents are sleeping too. It's unfortunate (and terrible that the parents left the child alone in the house) but I don't think gaming is to blame. It could have just as easily happened going to the shop to buy food.
    Wait... what?
