Why pre-order!? That's like giving the developer/publisher a license to mediocrity. Like paying for your meal at a restaurant when you sit down. They can dish up anything after that.

No more pre orders for me that is for sure also no more early access games.
    Simcityand Necro game.
Worst part was that it was kick started and they even have over 50k extra and the game is just nowhere.

I've only been burned badly with two pre-orders in the past, but they still sting to this day:

    • Aliens: Colonial Marines Collector's Edition (At full price! )
    • Duke Nukem Forever Collector's Edition

Thankfully I decided not to get Arkham Knight because I still haven't finished Arkham Origins yet.

I pre ordered Star Wars Battlefront, and that was a real good buy. I enjoyed the crap out of that game, and never had any buyers remorse.

Plus, honestly, pre orders are not the worst thing in the world. It does not breed mediocrity in the industry. It will not destroy the gaming industry as we know it. I'm honestly not convinced that me pre ordering a game that I'm excited to play is such a big problem. I've pre ordered a bunch of games, and honestly whether or not I pre ordered it, I would've still bought it at day one.

    So yeah, flame on!!
