There's fibre just down the road from us. And then we live opposite this fancy estate and they've got fibre. The reason we don't have fibre is because there are a lot of plots with only one house on each of them. It used to be farm area and there are still a lot of farming going on around us which is pretty weird when you look at the location.

We are being blackballed because MTN doesnt want other providers by us - we are surrounded by the deep pink of vuma

I am not sure if it is the DSTV Now Service, or my Fibre. But my internet is still just as unstable as what my LTE was. I have Fibre now, 20/10. And not impressed at all tbh. How much of the so called FTTH still has to go through old out dated infrastructure ?

Interesting we have had a few people moan in my neighborhood of weird things working and not working on the fiber

In all honesty I would not mind having my LTE back even. So don't wish your Fibre installed too quickly.

My brother inlaw also had fibre installed recently. And for some reason they had to take out the ADSL completely and he could not keep both. His Fibre is even worse than mine and he has nothing else to fall back on now :/

That's weird. We have Fibre here at work and it's amazing. No problems whatsoever.

See I am waiting patiently for Vuma, my brother is so happy with them, they installed his fiber in 30mins and it was all up and running 20mins later thanks to web africa and its 2 weeks now and no issues

Do you perhaps mean Vula? They are quite a bit cheaper than Openserve so that good at least

I wish I could say the same. Maybe Business fibre is prioritized?
