Good news, wonder how it will look. Both Vulkan games, so graphics shouldn't take a big hit.

Not too sure if the switch can do Vulkan. It's X-1 which is Maxwell based. My guess It will probably be running on OpenGL with lowered texture resolutions and internal resolution scaling. Along with a few tweaks to lighting and shadows.

Wolfenstien will probably be the same, despite it being less graphically demanding. I wonder if they will eventually release the first 2 titles too.

It can. Nintendo is a huge Vulkan supporter.

Vulkan is confirmed to be supported on Switch, alongside OpenGL. I would assume thought that yet, texures will be much lower res than any of the other platforms, due to the limitations in the Switch hardware. Also, I would assume that the games will have lower quality sound files as well. This would all mean smaller installs for these games. I mean currently DOOM is at 60GB. There is no way that it can or will be that size on Switch. It has to be lower. And the best way would be to lower the quality of audio files, and lower res textures.

Sound compression is actually really good these days, it's all down to cutting features and working with the mega textures.

Snap-Map and MP are noting special anyway. The campaign was really great, lengthy and can has a lot to keep most players busy for a good 12+ hours this time around.

It's hard to see in the videos due to the compression quality. It looks like there is a lot less shadows and lighting effects and more fog. Some of the cut scenes seem to be pre-rendered video as opposed to in game.
