    Awesome man.

Lol, I have restarted so many times and tried so many builds I don't even care anymore. My main is currently a lvl 54 pure Shaman on the elite playthrough at the moment. I wiped apl my characters for the latest build except him. Also have a lvl 15 Saboteur for co-op and going to try a Shamn/Occultist dual class summoning build (also for coop) next. I also started another new character over the weekend: Soldier and Shaman hybrid focused on 2 handed weapons and lightning damage.

I bought Elite Dangerous Horizons, but haven't even gotten to try it out yet because this game is just so fucking addictive. It's insane.

Running with a conjurer currently but thinking of rolling an alt. It's fun watching your pets destroy everything in sight but gets boring after a while.

Man, Elite difficulty is quite the challenge. Think I should stick to Veteran for now and try to farm the 2 roguelike dungeons for better gear, but it's such a mission to craft a skeleton key every time. Luckily I have multiple characters so if I die to much I just switch.

I started with Nightblade and so far I've only dumped points in the dual-wield line and two points in the passive effect that slows enemies and reduces their offense. My damage output is ungodly. I came across a random level 21 boss in a cave and I utterly decimated him at level 15.

I'll decide what to choose for my second profession after I max out the dual-wield line.

Focusing on a few skills is definitely the way to go, otherwise you will end up with a bunch of skills that are basically useless later on. With my lvl 54 Shaman my base dps is at 6K now and with the skill I use it goes up to about 11K.

First time I tried the game I went with a NB. It felt incredibly OP and almost made me think the game was a bit too easy on normal.

Basically the same as TQ. Focus on one or two skill lines else you end up with a subpar character.

There is a normal difficulty? I thought that was the "casual/I don't want to die ever" setting. [emoji14]

Veteran is where it's at. So much more fun when champions can one shot you. Health potions become a necessity where on normal I barely ever used potions.

Anyone have a basic build for witchblade? I am on lv24 onehand plus shield real tanky but it doesn't feel like I do any real damage and this is on normal [emoji851]

What two classes is a witchblade a hybrid of? I have never had one, so I am not sure. Regardless of that, what does your skill point distribution look like? Are you focusing on a few skills and dumping most of your points into them? It will also help if you focus on one kind of damage and try to get gear that supports that, e.g if you're a Shaman you're most likely going to want to focus almost exclusively on your lightning damage modifier and look for gear that boosts that. My level 54 has a lightning modifier of +370 % as well as high electrocution modifier and I only use a select few skills that I have maxed (some are even overleveled) and make use of said modifiers.

My biggest problem at the moment is staying alive. I can do a tonne of damage with or without my melee weapon, but I die in a few seconds, I've got to be very quick on the health potion button and that doesn't really help much to be honest. I am playing on elite difficulty though, so it could be that, but the chances are good I need better gear.

EDIT: Another thing I forgot about, are you using devotion? That can make a big difference to your damage output as well.

Here is what my current skill point distribution looks like:

And here is my base dps:

And when modified by the skill I have on left click (Savagery):
