Probably the best news for any Switch owners, Stardew Valley will be launching on the Switch on October 5, at the same R159 price point as the PC version of the game. This is an interesting launch date, as 5 October will also be the full moon closest to the fall equinox this year, otherwise known as a harvest moon. I'm pretty sure this is not an accident, and it is just too perfect timing from the developers.

I see fans on all subreddits have gone completely bonkers for the news. And with good reason. Stardew Valley is a game that feels like it's made to be enjoyed on a portable console. It will be an incredible entry to anyones Switch lineup of games.

That is, if you can finish Golf Story in time...
