I loved the first Shogun, I only had it for like 6 months though as I stupidly left the disk in the CD rom drive of the laptop I gave back to the company after I left it :-(. But got Rome and enjoyed that even more bwahahahaha
Live Long and Prosper
This... is... so... awesome... can't... speak... coherently... AaaaaaaaAAAaAAaaaAaAaaAh!
Not sure if I'm excited about this yet... first need to know if it has that Steam integrated DRM like Empire. I am a big fan of the TW series but I refuse to use Steam.
edit:
ah well... I just read over here that it's another unfortunate Steam baby. gg
Fuck you Sega, gb2console.
Steam is unintuitive and limited, it's slow. The pings are crap even to local dedi servers, the interface is shit, it doesn't let me play without mandatory game updates which wreck any mods I had, no ability to resell games that turned out to be crap, or to give old games to your friends. And with regular games you just click the icon on the desktop and the game loads. With Steam you click the icon on the desktop then it's UPDATING STEAM PLATFORM again, then wait for that to finish, then maybe play the actual game. Fuck that. And if Steam disintegrates tomorrow... you have a nice collection of imaginary games to brag about that you'll never be allowed to play again.
The final straw for me was seeing UPDATING STEAM PLATFORM for the thousandth time. I decided that I was going to simply uninstall one of my Steam games.. and UPDATING STEAM PLATFORM popped up again. And stayed there for 3 hours.
And I've always found it funny how so many Steam users remind me of religious freaks.
