And they only way of stopping this is to pick carefully who you decide to support.
With more and more AAA going this route and just pumping out sequels they see what people buy and then they split those up and then just making sure to make money on what people used a lot in their prev games.

On principle, I refuse to buy anything via micro transactions. Might not be as big a statement as refusing to buy the game at all, but still.

I think bought a loot box once for Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, but the only reason was because I had some Bioware points left from buying ME2 and Dragon Age DLC. Back then, you still had to buy Bioware points first (at specific quantities) and then buy DLC using Bioware points. Wasn't anything else I could do with Bioware points so decided to blow it and get it over with.

No guts, no glory, no brain, same story.

O that brings up another point having to spend money to buy gems/points/gold and dust ect. And then you end up just like you with the Bioware points I also have 300 points left but it will go to waste since I don't support Bioware anymore.

I will not spend a grand on a premium game and then have to buy micro transactions.
I will however download a ftp and feel that is fair, but the items must be permanent and not "rented" for x months
