Split/Second
Anyone else playing this yet? I've done three episodes of the season now and I must say, I am really impressed with this game. It is the most fun racer I've played in ages, everything about this game is just pure awesomeness. The cars handle perfectly, the level design is great and the power plays are insane. Online is also a blast, if you have unlocked a fast enough car to compete against other people.
If I wasn't so broke at the moment I would of bought it on release, really enjoyed playing the demo.
Yeah lucky for me I didn't pay for a single game I got this month, and I got a couple: Red Dead Redemption, Alpha Protocol, Fifa 10, UFC 2010, Split/Second, Dead Space and Heavenly Sword
I'm stuck between this and Blur, both seem to be similar games but both seem fun as well. Choices...
I'll probably grab it in July, but I think I'm looking forward to Blur more. Blur sounds like a mix between a more tactical Wipeout and a Quake deathmatch whereas Split/Second is like what would happen if Michael Bay directed Death Race.
Mod Nation Racers is the other one I plan to get, but I'm a sucker for kart racers.

LOL, didn't have to kill anybody, won a competition at work and got R2500 to spend on games. UFC is awesome, a lot better than the first one, they made some major improvements.
Also played Blur a bit and it is nowhere near as fun as Split/Second. It's basically just like a cart racer, but with real cars and real locations. Split/Second on the other hand is like no other racer out there, it's a very original and unique game.
Much like KFC. Oily, somewhat tasty and often very very bloody. Plus it's not even human. And you can use it in pre-school projects.

have to disagree there...ufc09 was way better than any wwe game. From graphics to gameplay, so I'd say wwe is smaller scale
btw...does split second have split screen?
