    Default BF BC2: Recommended Gfx

I was thinking of upgrading to a 5770... Any BFBC2 players using a 5770 that can comment on performance?

BFBC2 requires a better cpu than a gpu but running a 8800gts and can say graphic whise it can go up to high. But my cpu is lacking so the game lags a lot(after the update its been worst)

So you reckon you can even run a GT250 ...

Any idea what CPU is recommended, I definitely need to upgrade my CPU as well, i'm running an AMD 3800 Dual Core, i've been out of the gaming scene for some time. I recall reading that BFBC2 can make use of multiple cores, so thats very cool.

Intel/AMD quad core is very much recommended for BC2. It's one of the first games that actually seems to make efficient use of a quad-core cpu. Quad-core cpu plus a 5770 should yield a pretty good ingame experience

Check my signature, That setup plays metro 2033 everything on high. So yes a 5770 will be more than enough to run BC2.

Hmmm...I'm running BC2 on full graphics WITH StereoScopic 3D on a Dual Core CPU.
My ignore list: growing too fast to keep updating.

I'm using a 5770 and playing BC2 on high settings DX11 with 2x AA and getting no less than 40 frames per second. So yes, I highly recommend this card for BC2.
