Default Upgrading my PC - Decisions

    Current build

    Case: Coolermaster RC-K380
    PSU: Corsair CP-9020015 CX750. 12V V2.3 – 750W (12v:744w)
    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H97 – Gaming 3
CPU: Intel Haswell Iga 1150 i3-4360
    Memory: Corsair 4Gbx2 DDR3-1600 (8Gb initially) + Corsair 8Gb x1 DDR3 -1600 (added eventually for Ark)
    GPU: Sapphire AMD R9270 2Gb
Optical Drive: LG GH24NS90, 24x, Sata, Oem pack
HDD Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1Tb
    Software: Windows 10 64bit
Monitor: LG 20M35A 19.5” (Screen size was not the first priority)

This build worked very well and only had a bottleneck percentage of around 7%. The 4th Gen i3 worked better with the R9270 than most i5’s would for a way lower price. This build runs some games better than older i5 and i7 builds. However some new games like Kingdom Come deliverance and others I would not even consider buying because I know my pc won’t handle them.

I am tempted to upgrade my pc. I am looking at spending around R15 000. Hard to believe back a few years ago that i3 build almost cost around R13000 due to the high prices in South Africa.

Currently the best options IMO would be the Ryzen series or the 8th gen processors. The Ryzen 5 1600 or i5 8400.This obviously means I would need a new motherboard, DDR4 Ram instead of DDR3 and then I am looking at the GTX 1060 6Gb / GTX 1070Ti 8Gb or maybe the GTX 10180 but I think then it becomes somewhat expensive.

I mainly look at Evetech Upgrade packs and Evetech products in general due to availability.

    GRAPHICS CARD

    -ASUS Phoenix GTX 1060 6GB Phoenix Fan- R5 699
    -MSI GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X - R6,499
    https://www.evetech.co.za/Search.aspx?s=GTX%201060

    -MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti ARMOR 8Gb - R8 499
-Asus ROG Strix Geforce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB Advanced Edition - R8,999
    https://www.evetech.co.za/Search.aspx?s=GTX%201070

I could look at the 1050ti or the 1080 however the 1050ti I feel falls short. Even compared to my R9270 it may have 4Gb but it’s barely better. The GTX 1080 is unfortunately around R2000 more expensive than the GTX 1070

I look at the entry level ( cheapest option for both the 1060 and 1070 and then also the better ranked one that is not too expensive) I trust the dual fan for the GTX1060 would be preferred even though it cost extra R800 more. The MSI Armor 1070 with dual fans compared to the 3 fans of the ROG is still better ranked so I guess the MSI should be good enough?

In Conclusion I feel the most comfortable with this build:

    AMD RYZEN 5 1600
MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti ARMOR 8Gb
    2x 8GB DDR4 2666MHz

Now my question. Will all these work well together with my previous components considering in time I could get a SSD and better screen?
