Default Duke 3D Xbox Live Arcade

    Hey guys.

I'm having trouble getting the Duke3D on Xbox Live arcade, it tells me its not available in my region.

How would I go about getting this? Would I have to create an American account and buy it from that?

Its the same problem as with all rated 18 DLC. eg. Gears map packs. You will need to connect to a VPN and then start your download. The reason is because those games are banned from Germany and Australia and a few other countries, so Live checks your IP to make sure you don't download the DLC to a banned country and because LIVE is not supported here it will tell you that is is not available in your region.

It's not really that. As SephirothDVR already pointed out, certain content - basically, anything banned somewhere else - is IP region-blocked, restricting downloads to only those countries that officially have LIVE support and allow the content. However, most region-blocked content is usually available everywhere for the first day or so of release, for some reason.

Also, it's possible to get around using VPNs.
