I love these games they are like singleplayer MMORPG's. I would also recommend the Gothic series if any have not tried them. They are along this vein of genre and a person favourite.
Here is hoping the next Elder Scrolls is more like Morrowind and Daggerfall than Oblivion. Too much "stream-lining" happening these days.
