I first played gothic when Gothic 3 came out but it ran like crap on the then current gen hardware. Couple of years later I installed it again (around last year feb as I own the original) I was bored one day and started playing it again, and man it really grew on me. What I liked is, it was alot like Morrowind andthe RPG's of old, lot less guidance, and more stuff to figure out yourself. Then I got DSL and Discovered COD, never touched gothic again
