So finally managed to find some time this weekend to finish RDR and I must say I have really enjoyed playing it.

SPOILERS to follow (highlight to read):

John dying in the end was a surprise for me but really went well with the whole story. Being able to play as the older Jack to finish the story line makes sense.

The last couple of missions as John on the farm were an interesting and unexpected addition. It's weird not to have the climax, i.e. the killing of Dutch, as a normal ending.

These last farm missions felt more like an epilogue in a book, but as an end to the overall experience I especially enjoyed it.

Now for 100% completion! I'm such a sucker for punishment.
