Far Cry 2? I don't have a particularly strong system and I managed to run it quite smoothly.

Crysis made my poor box go on strike for a higher salary - especially when I got to the final boss fight. Supreme Commander I've never tried, but I've heard things - specifically regarding the AI that makes your system grind to a halt. You can't consider graphics to be the only benchmark, after all.

GTA IV if you want to stress your CPU and Crysis if you want to stress your GPU.

Cookie monster would be probably the most hungriest game I rate

I know Dawn of war 2 is pretty heavy on resources when turned up to full.
Suppreme commander 2 is also in there somewhere.

Crysis still rapes the best machines out there.

Still the ultimate benchmark for a pc.
Nothing else out there can rape a machine as much as Crysis can.

Far Cry 2 is running better than Crysis. Crysis was scaled down a lot and still my PC struggled, but with Far Cry 2 I had a very smooth game on higher graphic selections.

GTA4 is just a poorly coded port from Console or am I wrong? I think no matter what system you have by todays standards it will never play smoothly..
    Metro 2033 gets my vote

You can play GTA IV butter smooth maxxed out, but its quite heavy on the CPU cores and RAM.
