And yes, the Xbox 360's previous failure rate is absolutely inexcusable. But I can't work out why some guys are now slagging off new console modifications to mitigate this - improved ventilation, safety system shutoff. see the thing there is, all good and well with the improvements, but I still think the safety shutdown is BS, they should have focused more on cooling, how hot does a Xbox have to get to RRoD anyway? I would think think too, that the original xboxs had temperature sensors, so why wasn't this safety shutdown sent though a firmware update?

Ja PS3s are a bitch to fix, but now tell me this, if Xboxs had not had such a high overall fail rate, would they still be so easy to get fixed/replaced?
