Don't get me wrong, I love gaming as much as the next guy, but WoW can seriously mess people up. Maybe Blizzard should put limits on the number of hours you can be online with an IP or something.

Yeah, all you people in favour of this girl or "Saving their relationship" are idiots.

Do you really think this guy had a breakthrough and was like, "wow, I should play less now."

No, he probably said fuck you bitch and dumped her ass, and kept on playing WoW, except now in peace.

This girl obviously did not care about their relationship, or she's a moron, because she's clearly just destroyed it.

    Agreed +1

I feel sorry for the dude
I accidentally put two contacts in one eye, now I can see myself for who I really am.

If I had a girl and she did that, I would not hesitate to (I think I need to censor this) her. She is clearly an attention whore, hence the video for the whole internet to see.

Props to the guy if he dumped her sorry ass.

Long story short, they were both wrong.

The guy wasn't paying attention to his relationship - which begs the question why he was in a relationship to begin with. His gf should have been aware of his gaming habits - which makes one wonder why she went into the thing to start with as well.

Whether he was an addict or not, and whether his hobby was self-destructive or not is actually immaterial. WoW is a tremendous time-sink - and for most people it becomes a bit of a passion - and what the girl did was unnecessary. As someone pointed out earlier - she could have changed his password and held his account to ransom. It leaves room for negotiation. Now ... there isn't any. By deleting his chars, she effectively stole his money - since he's been paying for however long he's playing. Non-gamers (and non IT people in general) seem to think that because it's just data, there's no harm done.

Deleting a Steam account was a good example, just because I don't have those games on my shelf, I still paid for them.

I don't feel sympathy for either of them - but I'd be surprised if the relationship is still intact.

But wow ... that poor screen really got pwned!!

I am pretty sure that the dude had to get stitches for that. He SMASHED that screen.

Not to fuel the fire here, but the chick was wrong. On the other hand, we also don't know how bad the guy treated her.
There are a lot of dedicated gamers that still make their significant others happy. Either the guy wasn't one of them, or she didn't appreciate him.

Remember, the internetz is alwayz true! (not out-ruling a scam here)

Bliksems pc? I was under the impression he bliksemed her. Would have been much funnier story.
