I recommend that the MyGaming journalists keep an eye on other South African game sites to see what news is out there.

There's so much stuff happening that MyGaming isn't covering. There has still not been any news about the Beautiful Desolation kickstarter and yet it featured on all the other sites on the same day as it started. It's major South African gaming news.

It's probably going to sound horrible, but imo MyGaming stopped caring about their content around the time TinMan left. It became more about garnering clicks than writing genuinely worthwhile content. When I pointed it out a few years ago I was often told "our stats show we're getting more traffic", which is not really saying much as an article with the headline "this boy got a big surprise in his christmas stocking, you won't believe it until you see it" is also going to get more traffic than an article on the extinction of a bee species.

MyGaming has a great community in the forums, but the news side has been blegh for quite some time.
