Okay, as a rule I don't let anyone borrow my games, blu-rays and especially not my consoles. The other gross thing is that you'll get your controller back (if you get it back) and you don't know WHAT's been holding onto it.....eeek!

To be quite honest I have ONE single friend that I would lend blu-rays and games to....no one else. It's a trust issue. I've had games stolen from me and DVD movies scratched so bad that they became unusable afterwards

I'm also a little anal about lending my things out. Thing is, you pay R700 for a disk and you know that you will take very good care of it. Problem is, I don't know if the person I lend it to understands how to take care of it. I even get a little funny when I lend my games to friends who end up keeping the game in their consoles for days instead of putting them back in their boxes - just because I'm like that though. I'd never lend out my PS3, however, because I don't think anyone can appreciate my baby as much as me. :P
I don't lend out anything myself.
I lend my games out to people, but on the very explicit understanding that anyone who fucks up my discs, replaces my discs.
