10 Best rated RTS games

myGamings list is much better than the game rankings list imo.

How can you have an expansion at number 8 spot? Much against my opinion [but I can't deny it] Starcraft 1 should be number 1. 12 years later and people are still playing it.
 
Dune wasn't an RTS, Dune II was :-D the first Warcraft was not revolutionary in anyway, I think II was actually much better and deserves to be on the list over III any day.
 
i would like to add to the list Red Alert 2( Red alert2: Yuri revenge have some great memory's of me and my friend ) and Warcraft 2 ( the reason i started playing games so much and i only had the demo)
 
Total Annihilation & Dungeon Keeper, both on my top 20 list of all time - and the only RTS I didn't totally suck at :p
 
I prefered total annihilation Kingdoms. But good list. Pitty red alert 2 was not on there or tib sun(Love tib sun)
 
I'm suprised Age Of Empires isnt on there we played that game to death.

10.Warcraft 2
 
Lots of Total War series of games there :-D. My top 10 would be
1. Dune II (It converted me to the cause)
2. Command and Conquer (Classic)
3. Age of Empires
4. Warcraft II
5. Rome
6. Generals
7. Starcraft (Only cause I played it to death)
8. Dawn of War + expansions (Same reason as SC)
9. Red Alert
10. Rise of Nations
 
I love Sins, everyday I sit and think of ways to build a better fleet, same as Homeworld and Lords of the Realm was fantastic
 
I'de just swap Starcraft and Warcraft's places and scrap Frozen Throne from the list alltogether and put Dawn of War in it's place.

But Company of Heroes rightly deserves that top spot. It is the most indepth and emersive RTS I've ever played. Most games from the genre distance you from the action somewhat but CoH manages to make you feel part of the action somehow. Now Relic just needs to release a version with modern combat.
