Surprisingly enough, gaming got me into writing. After reading a lot of text from the Final Fantasies I was quite sufficiently inspired to write stories/poems/ stream of consciousness-es myself.
I also think it taught me determination, you know, how games have particular objectives and you have to get them no matter what? Definitely got that from games.
Games taught me to be more disciplined actually - they can be quite addictive, and it takes quite an effort to learn to not spend all your time playing them, but rather persuing other hobbies too.
I know alot of guns and other military hardware now.
know some military tactics
learnt everything i need about PCs
go me into mythology, history
and the usual faster reflexs etc.
I've always thought that if you want to point out other people's shortcomings, you should probably sort out your own first
I prefer shotguns - I keep the chainsaw for when I run out of ammoOriginally Posted by Psycho Pitbull
Games also taught me that if you get shot you heal after a few seconds - and dying means you can respawn later![]()
Ah you forget the older games you had to find health packs, hamburgers or something else to heal... I learnt the quickest way to kill a zombie is blow it's head off, otherwise you wasting ammo
