I got into anime last year and have since become a full-blown addict.

So for the rest of the addicts out there here are some great resources for anime pictures, art and wallpapers.

First up, MiniTokyo.net. To my mind the best resource for some great artwork. You need credits to download pics and you get 5 free downloads per day.

Now if you're worried about the credits you need to download, don't! You can earn credits by submitting your own artwork or pics, as long as it is of a decent quality and anime-themed. You earn credits from the downloads of your submissions.

Also with groups and the ability to compile your own anime list and review them you probably won't find a better place than this.


Second, DeviantArt.com. Excellent resource for all types of art. Just search for anime or a character of your favourite anime series and enjoy the sheer amount of content. Some of the art is really bad, but then most if of superior quality.

There are also groups dedicated to anime and manga.


Third, TheOtaku.com. A great resource with awesome wallpapers, fan art, fan comics, etc.

Also with a nice section called Challenges. This is where you can't engage in friendly competition with other members to produce works of art or wallpapers.

These are the 3 sites I frequent for wallpapers etc.
