Somehow I don't think that Bethesda would be the best fit either. Of course Bethesda's parent company is ZeniMax, which also owns id Software, but I can't see the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. world running on id Tech 5. They also own Arkane Studios (Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, Dishonored), so there might be potential there, but I'd still rather see the original developers complete the game. They probably won't thought, so in a not so perfect world, the guys over at 4A Games (Metro 2033 and Last Light) would be near perfect, but I don't think they'd want to do it.
That's what they want you to think (regarding Grigorovich) I really can't say more then that. But he is a bit of a douche. I doubt Bethesda would take it over. The stalker IP already had enough investment in the project to continue it. But old' Grig pulled the plug. And 4A games would be good, maybe even the best fit for it but they've already been trying and old' Grig wants too much for the IP.

So we'll see what happens next.
