Just more proof of how tough it is going there at Sony. Some of them look like good Business decisions. Not so good for the employees though....
Also a price cut on the PS3 is also not very likely with this news. Unless they are planning to move some money around to cover the additional loss of the price cut
However, their tactics are not unique, lots of companies (including in SA) are doing much the same. People are being laid off. I consider a bonus a perk, since a lot of companies don't even pay bonuses and Sony is only decreasing theirs. I mean, you can't even expect an increase working for some SA companies (Yes, I know, it's ridiculous!)
SO, there are still worse places to work, I reckon.
