Bad Company 2 online play on SGS becoming unbearable.

Over the past week or so I've really started to find it unpleasant to play this game. The amount of hacking accusations flying around is becoming totally ridiculous. And the standard of language used is utterly disgusting. People not merely swearing, but using derogatory racial slurs and female reproductive organs. It truly shows the character of the some people and it's not pretty.

The only solution to this is admins. Where on earth are the SGS admins??? I remember on BF2 and BF2142 that for one simple swear word okes got a one week ban for their first offence. And spawn camping was a massive no no. Does SGS simply no longer care or is it a case of nobody wanting to actually be an admin?

Please SGS, clean up your servers, as they are rapidly falling into disrepute.

Yeah I agree. The SGS servers are seriously falling behind and the amount of swearing and foul language on those servers is just insane. I know they'll probably come out with some lame-ass "we're busy cry us a river" excuse, but it still doesn't change the fact that gaming on their servers has become a major pain. Thank goodness there are a lot of other servers out there lately and SGS can go jump in a lake

Myself and a mate where playing a game on SGS on Saterday evening, but due to Spawn camping & some fouler than foul language we decided to move to a WAGE server. Started off pretty well but then the WAGE servers just crashed, TWICE :|

So also not a very viable alternative..

Wish the iGame servers where more populated.

The SGS servers have no admins so this kind of thing will, unfortunately, continue.

I haven't really seen the Hacking accusations issue, but yeah there are so many little kiddies playing that feel the need to swear and act like total retards, cyberdog is one of many of these retards.

I always figured they would get banned instantly for this, obviously I was wrong. Poor show by SGS.

Same problem with Cod4 SGS servers...I don't have a problem with Spawn camping though. That's just the game engine really(I am referring to Cod4 - not too sure about BC2)

Spawn camping will always be a contentious issue. There are certain parts on the map where it can be "understood' for lack of a better word, but when you camp in a players "home base", that is plain kak, especially in Conquest. In Rush mode as an attacker it can be argued to a degree you are protecting the bombs from being defused, but as a defender to camp the attackers spawn is lame.

But yes, the language issue is really disgusting and merely illustrates why kiddies shouldn't be allowed to play games that have age limits or restrictions. SGS apparently said they don't have enough admins to cover all the games they host. Fair enough, then don't host every game under the sun if you can't provide the required services that are supposed to be there. But they do so, to be able to claim to have the largest following in SA. I personally think that EA should be informed of this and the fact that PB does not seem to work on the SGS BC2 servers. EA would not be pleased as that is part of the requirements to be able to host their games.

We just played a quick game on the IGame server and we where like 10 and the server lagged so much I could not get trough a door on my 3de try.

As for sgs hosting way too many servers of bc2 its so true, yeah I know we all wanted more servers but here in SA it means 1 or 2 more since we don't have that a huge gaming community or we just get split up between igame, wage, sgs, vodacom, mweb and so forth.

Agree for some reason I have not seen 1 guy get banned from sgs, I mean wtf just the other week there was 6 guys banned on wage because of aimbots. now if there are 6 guys on wage that's almost never full how can sgs not ban even 1 when its full most of the times?

I am not sure if its the "kids" that is is using such bad language on the servers.

I've contacted SGS about this, and will write up an article on the matter when they've responded. In the meantime, if anyone has any screenshots or other hard evidence of unacceptable behaviour on the servers, please post it here or PM me.

I'd also like to know if any of you have previously lodged complaints with SGS, and what the response was.
