I know there's a lot of us playing SC2 now, so I thought it would be fun if we could all add ourselves to a ranking system and see how we measure up!
Hope this hasn't been done already, but here's how you add yourself to the list!
There is a site called www.sc2ranks.com - you can search for your nick on there using the search function and find out your stats and how you measure against the rest of the world/region in your division.
What I've done now though is create a "Custom Division" - for MyGaming specifically!
Here's what you do to add yourself to the list!
1. Go to http://www.sc2ranks.com/c/382/mygamingza
2. Click the "Manage Characters" label in yellow
3. Choose the "Add Character" radio button, and in the text box below post the URL of your character. To get this URL, search for your name on sc2ranks using their search function, and click your name to see your profile. The URL for that profile is what you paste in the text box!
4. Click Submit and you're done! Now your name will be added to the list and ranked accordingly.
Hoping to get a decent-sized list, so everyone who is interested please go add your name, could be fun and inspire a little bit of competition
You can also add other people, i.e. your friends, to the list. Anyone can be added by anyone else, you don't have to do it yourself.
To access the list and see how you're doing, just use the URL in Step 1. Hope to see you there!
P.S. Please join regardless of your rank/division. I want a full complement of Bronze - Diamond in there! I'd like it if the MyGaming division could become the division for all the SC2 players of South Africa. Think it would be really cool to see who the best of the best is, and give the rest of us a ladder to climb!
The site is updated pretty often and well managed, so I really think it could be awesome if we get a huge list going Please take the time to add your names
This will also make it a lot easier to find friends/practice partners and add them!
